What is the NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is an Australian Government initiative designed to provide funding and support to people living with permanent and significant disabilities.

The NDIS focuses on empowering participants with greater choice and control over the supports they receive, helping them live independently and participate fully in their community.

Who is Eligible for the NDIS?

• Be under 65 years of age when first applying
• Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a Protected Special Category Visa
• Have a permanent and significant disability
• Require support to complete everyday activities
